Semi-Custom Stationery FAQ
What is semi-custom stationery?
The studio’s semi-custom stationery collection features a curated selection of designs originally created from my hand-painted artwork. The custom element comes in when your wedding details are added—either through hand-lettering painted especially for your order or fonts selected by the designer.
What are the booking & deposit requirements?
Full payment is required at the time of ordering your chosen designs. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email outlining the details of your purchase along with an estimated delivery timeframe.
What is the turnaround time?
Turnaround times for semi-custom stationery vary depending on the quantity and specific pieces included in your order, but typically range between 2-3 weeks.
Do you offer rush services for last-minute semi-custom orders?
Rush services may be available depending on current availability. Rush fees for semi-custom stationery range from $200–$400 USD. Please reach out to discuss your timeline, and we can determine if your rush request can be accommodated.
Will you write or proofread my stationery copy?
All wedding details and copy for your stationery must be provided by the client. The studio does not offer writing, editing, or proofreading services, so it is crucial that all information is accurate and submitted by the specified design deadlines. Please carefully review your text for typos or missing details and submit all text exactly as you would like it to appear.
How many revisions are included?
Revisions are not included for semi-custom stationery. Please ensure that all text and details are submitted exactly as you would like them to appear. You will, however, have the opportunity to review proofs of your designs to check for any typos before finalizing.
I saw a design you created for another client. Can I use this for my semi-custom stationery?
To ensure each client’s stationery feels unique and personal, designs created for past clients are not available for semi-custom orders.
Kindly note that I do not accept bookings for weddings or events held on plantations or other sites with a documented history of enslavement or cultural harm, and I will not illustrate anything connected to these locations.
Can I print my own semi-custom stationery?
Yes! Printing your stationery yourself can be a straightforward and cost-effective option, especially if you’re working within a budget. If you choose this route, print-ready files will be provided. Many printers offer paper samples for free or a small fee—consider reviewing their options and selecting the one that best fits your vision. I recommend a heavy-weight, matte paper to showcase the painted style of the studio’s designs.
What kind of paper and printing methods do you offer?
If you choose printing services, the studio will use a heavy-weight, cotton matte paper for printing. Designs are digitally printed.
Do you offer envelope addressing and assembling for printed semi-custom orders?
Yes! We offer digital printing in a variety of fonts to address your envelopes; however, hand-calligraphed envelopes are not available at this time. Invitation suites with envelopes will be shipped pre-assembled, ready for you to seal, stamp, and mail to your guests.
Can I return or cancel my semi-custom stationery order?
Because semi-custom stationery includes custom hand-lettering, we are unable to accept returns or cancellations once production has begun.
